Prussia, Kingdom. A Medal Commemorating the Assassination Attempt on Kaiser Wilhelm I, c.1878

A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears a crowned cipher “W” for Kaiser Wilhelm I, the reverse inscribed with “Erinnerung 1878” within an open ended wreath of oak leaves tied with a ribbon at the bottom, measuring 29.21 mm (w) x 34.70 mm (h), on a white ribbon with black striped, very fine.
