(Preussen, Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen, II Klasse).Instituted 30 September 1810. A circular medal constructed of silver, the obverse centre bears the crowned cipher “FWR III” for King Friedrich WIlhelm III, the reverse bears the inscription “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (SERVICE TO THE STATE) encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, measuring 39.23 mm (w) x 44.42 mm (h), weighing 32.9 g, on a white ribbon with orange stripes, very fine.
