A lot of three medals, including a War Merit Cross, II Class, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 49.06 mm (w) x 49.70 mm (h), weighing 16.8 grams, loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition; a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, the suspension loop maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “13” for Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 49.10 mm (w) x 49.90 mm (h), weighing 19.2 grams, some loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition, and; a West Wall Medal, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse with a pillbox topped by a crossed sword and shovel and a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS” (“FOR WORK IN THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY”), unmarked, measuring 32.92 mm (w) x 45.63 mm (w), weighing 22.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
