Germany, Weimar Republic. A German Field Honour Badge with Stick Pin Miniature

(Deutsches-Feld-Ehrenzeichen mit Anstecknadel). Constructed of gilded silvered bronze with enamels, consisting of an eight-pointed radiant star, the obverse with a central leftward-facing German soldier within a gilded and pebbled oval wreath, within a Cross Pattée with white enameled arms, with gilt crossed swords piercing the centre, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with two visible rivets securing the obverse applique in place, marked with an engraved inscription of “DEUTSCHES FELD-EHRENZEICHEN, HAMBURG 3”, measuring 52 mm (w) x 64 mm (h), accompanied by its stick pin miniature, of identical composition and construction, unmarked, measuring 17 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in overall near extremely fine condition.
