In Gold consisting of a Maltese Cross with ball finials and blue enameled arms, the quadrants of each arm joined by a Gold crown on top of an intricate royal cypher, obverse with a central medallion depicting a white Braunschweig horse on a red enameled background, the 9 o’clock, 12 o’clock, and 3 o’clock arms with hand painted gilt wheat stocks, the six o’clock arm with a hand painted knight, reverse with a central red enameled medallion with gilt order motto of “IMMOTA FIDES” (“STEADFAST LOYALTY”), inside a Gold ring with raised Roman numerals, the 12 o’clock arm bearing a lion passant topped by a royal crown connecting to a suspension loop, flanked by green enameled laurel leaves, measuring 37.7 mm (w) x 58.29 mm (h), weighing 13.5 grams, on replacement ribbon, with loose centre, enamel loss to obverse and reverse centre, enamel loss also to laurals and crown, remains very fine.
