Canada, Dominion. A Royal Flying Corps (RFC) Blazer Patch, c.1930

In silvered bullion wire, in various textures, illustrating the letters "RFC" within an open-ended wreath, yellow threading giving definition to the leafing on the wreath, surmounted by a bronze gilt George V crown, with maroon felt in the void of the crown, the crown secured in place by a lugs and pin on the reverse, on a black wool base, black paper backer, measuring 86 mm (w) x 96 mm (h), scattered discolouration in the silvered bullion, paper and glue residue evident on the reverse from previous board mounting, better than very fine.
