Constructed of bronze gilt, with red enameled arms; the obverse with a black enameled eagle; the reverse with a vertical pinback, and a functional hinge/catch assembly; measuring 53.30 mm (w) x 53.17 mm (h); weighing 16.8 grams. Accompanied by its boutonniere featuring a miniature version of the award tied to a bow ribbon, with replacement horizontal pinback; accompanied by its presentation case of issue; constructed of heavy cardstock, with a blue faux leather (leatherette) exterior; the exterior of the case embossed with a golden eagle; with a lined interior lid, recessed medal bed, functional spring catch and stud release, intact interior fabric hinge cover, and functional exterior metal hinge; measuring 97 mm (w) x 120 mm (h); very fine.
