Germany, Third Reich. An Order of the German Eagle, IV Class with Swords Miniature

(Verdienstorden vom Deutschen Adler Miniatur). Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with an attachment needle, consisting of a Maltese Cross with white enameled arms, the quadrants joined by Geran national eagle clutching wreathed white enameled discs, the obverse overlaid by crossed swords, unmarked, measuring 18 mm (w) x 18 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
