(Sturmabteilung Dolch). With a nickel-silver plated metal blade with acid-engraved with “Alles für Deutschland” (“Everything for Germany”) on the obverse, the reverse presents the maker mark and insignia for Carl Eickhorn with the company's characteristic squirrel logo, also marked by RZM M 7/66 1938 on ricasso, the blade fits tightly into the upper crossguard, itself constructed of nickel-silver plating, which in turn sits flush with the wooden handle that shows only minor shrinkage from age, eight notches are neatly carved into the upper cross guard evenly distributed between top and bottom, the obverse of the wooden handle bears a metallic NSDAP Parteiadler (Party Eagle) emblem fitted within the wood, featuring an eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, below sits a metallic Sturmabteilung logo comprised of a stylized “SA” initials, the lower crossguard, like the upper, also features eight carved notches and is stamped “He” for “Hessen,” the dagger is held together by a nickel-silver pommel nut that sits tightly and securely in the lower crossguard, the scabbard is constructed of magnetic metal, with a nickel-silver plated metal fitting at the tip and throat, a metal loop is attached to the upper fitting, allowing the dagger to hang from a uniform, the fittings are each securely held in place with original screws connecting the main body of the scabbard, overall the dagger exhibits wear to its scabbard and presents only minor edge nicks to blade as well as evidence of cleaning, remains near very fine.
