Germany, Heer. A Heer EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle

(Heer Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse with a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ring bearing a raised inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs connecting to a period original brown leather strap, the latter retaining traces of a date stamp of “1939”, otherwise unmarked, the buckle measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in overall very fine condition.
