The semi-rigid collar has a large single hook and eye closure at the front, ensuring a snug fit at the neck. The front is completed by a vertical row of five large brown plastic buttons on the right side, each of which bears the insignia of the People's Liberation Army, facing an equal number of reinforced button holes on the left side. The inside is lined in a fern green cotton, with a pocket sewn in place on the left breast, with a small brown plastic button just below the opening, facing a green cord loop just inside the opening and designed without a foldover flap. The sleeves are lined in cotton and come with rules in gray and black in a repeating pattern, the tunic measuring 420 mm across the shoulders x 650 mm in length; and matching Trousers: exterior is fabricated from a moss green cotton-wool blend, with a button down fly incorporating four brown plastic buttons on the right side facing an equal number of reinforced button holes on the left side, discreetly hidden under a flap, along with a hook and eye catch at the waist above. It has two pockets, one on each side at the front with a traditional hip-side entry, both of which are deep and lined in white cotton and come with rules in blue and gray in a repeating pattern. The trousers have five large belt loops in a matching moss green cotton-wool blend, placed at equal intervals at the waist. The inside is lined in cotton on the wide band at the waist, along the sides of the fly and in the pockets, the trousers measuring 800 mm around at the waist x 970 mm in length overall.
