This Army/Infantry visor hat has unit marked inside of sweatband, along with penciled owners name. This Army hat features white crown and capband waffenfarben indicating branch to be Infantry. The upper wool body and capband show moderate wear, and upper body on bottom rear has a couple of small moth holes. The black chinstrap is attached to the capband by two black lacquered buttons, in nice condition. Black visor without major imperfections, exhibiting signs of wear. Army eagle wreath and cockade are all in silvered aluminum, die struck, with crisp details and in very fine condition; nice set. The interior is lined with grey-green oilcloth, with machine stitched, diamond shaped maker logo. Average size. Sweatband is of grey color, complete, and well worn. This cap was extensively worn, with rear underside in poor condition; otherwise this cap would make a fine display example.
