Canada: Canadian Forces' Decoration with Ten Years' Additional Service clasp, QEII (in bronze gilt, engraved "CAPT D R EATON" on the edge, measuring 38.5 mm (w) x 46 mm (h)); five United States awards: Army Distinguished Service Cross (in bronze, measuring 44 mm (w) x 51.5 mm (h)); Silver Star with two silver Oak Leaf Clusters (two-piece construction, silver star placed upon a bronze gilt star-shaped base, measuring 35 mm (w) x 34.5 mm (h)); Bronze Star with two bronze Oak Leaf Clusters and "V" Device (in bronze, measuring 36 mm (w) x 34.5 mm (h)); Purple Heart (two-piece construction, in bronze gilt with purple, red, white and green enamels, measuring 35 mm (w) x 44 mm (h)); Vietnam Service Medal (in bronze, measuring 32 mm in diameter); two Republic of Vietnam awards: Gallantry Cross with bronze Palm (in bronze, measuring 39 mm (w) x 63 mm (h) inclusive of its dual dragons suspension); and Campaign Medal, 1 Clasp - 1960- (two-piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels, measuring 40 mm (w) x 52.5 mm (h)). Naming is engraved in italic capitals on the CFD, the American and Vietnamese awards are un-named as issued. Court-mounted with swing bar pinback, chipping evident in the white enamels on the star point at 12 o'clock on the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, very light contact, original ribbons, near extremely fine. Accompanied by a Combat Infantryman Badge (in sterling silver with blue enamels, maker marked "SB" and marked "STERLING" on the reverse, measuring 76.5 mm (w) x 26.5 mm (h), dual push pins); and 75th Ranger Regiment Patch (in red and white embroidery, on a black cotton base, measuring 92 mm (w) x 27 mm (h)).
