A bronze badge in the shape of a shield, the obverse centre bears a deer skull with beams and a swastika between the antlers, the head rests upon a banner with the inscription “Jagdaufseher 6074”, the badge is bordered with oak leaves, the reverse bears a vertical, soldered pinback and the maker mark “HOTTSTÄTTZ BONN GES GESCH”, measuring 42.25 mm (w) x 56.01 mm (h), very fine.
