Germany, NSDAP. A Membership Badge, by Deschler & Sohn

(NSDAP Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the obverse with a central white enameled disc bearing a black mobile swastika, within a ring of red enamels bearing a silvered inscription of “NATIONALSOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 22.78 mm in diameter, weighing 5.3 grams, some flecking of enamels evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
