Germany, Wehrmacht. An Officer’s Dagger by Robert Klass

(Wehrmacht Offiziersdolch). Featuring a 258 mm long magnetic nickel-plated steel blade, with slight dent to tip, marked with the characteristic Robert Klass manufacturer logo on the reverse ricasso, with only minimal scratches on the blade common to extraction and return to the scabbard. The washer is constructed of black leather and is present. It features a pumpkin coloured celluloid grip. The spacer ring as well as the pommel are also constructed of nickel silver with a pleasing patina and their oak leaf design. The scabbard is constructed of silvered metal (magnetic) with a traditional pebbled finish, the throat retained by both original screws. Also decorated with oak leaf bands and rings for attachment to a hanger. With original portepee in standard silver aluminum bullion, very fine.
