Croatia, Independent State. A Historically Important Ustasha Honor Award, Belonging to Leader Ante Pavelić

An Ustasha Honour Award - Type 1 - Struck in solid silver, patinated, 32.2mm x 29.45mm, maker marked on badge and retaining nut "TK" (T. Krivak), hallmarked with Croatian silver mark, numbered "2", in extremely fine condition. Among Ustasha members this probably ranked as most important award. It was given to Ustasha fighters who again took Oath on 10. April 1941 and formed into Leader's (Poglavnik Ante Pavelić) personal Body Guard Battalion and returned with Ante Pavelić into Croatia from exile in Italy. Just over 200 awarded, thus a very rare award.
