A Maltese cross paty constructed of silver, the obverse centre bears the right facing bust of Georg Herzog Duke of Saxony, circumscribed with “GEORG HERZOG ZU SACHSEN MEININGEN”, the obverse centre bears the inscription “DEM VERDIENSTE” (THE MERIT) with a crown underneath within an oak leaf wreath, a green enamel wreath of spades lay in the quadrants between the arms, maker marked on the obverse under the bust “HELFRICHT F.” measuring 36.70 mm (w) x 37.52 mm (h), weighing 24.7 g, with loop for suspension on a solid green ribbon, very fine.
