Type II, Variation 1. In Gold and silver with red and white enamels, Monetny Dvor mint marked and number engraved "195655" on the reverse, measuring 43.5 mm (w) x 45.5 mm (h), museum marked in blue ink "195655" on the screwback, very light contact, intact enamels, extremely fine.

Footnote: The Order of the Patriotic War was instituted on May 30, 1942 and awarded to those who displayed bravery and resourcefulness in the war against Germany, in two grades.
