Turkey, Ottoman Empire. A Patriotic 1914 1915 Badge

An ovular badge constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the symbol of the Ottoman Empire (a crescent moon and a star), the dates “1914” and “1915” are to the right and three left facing portraits of the Three Pashas (Mehmed Talaat Pasha, Ismail Enver Pasha and Ahmed Djemal Pasha) with a sun to the right, encompassed by a cratered border, the reverse is plain and bears the mark “RE GD” and a horizontal pinback, measuring 44.86 mm (w) x 21.50 mm (h), very fine.
