Austria, Imperial. A Patriotic Iron Cross Medal

An Iron Cross paty constructed of bronze and white and black enamels, the obverse bears a central double headed eagle, the arms are of black enamel with a white enamel border, the 12 o’clock arm bears a crown and the 6 o’clock arm bears the date “1914/15”, the reverse is plain and bears the maker mark “GES GESCHÜTZ”, on an ornate teardrop shaped black enamel suspension loop, measuring 31.06 mm (w) x 34.56 mm (h), very fine.
