A Franz Joseph and Wilhelm II Pi, constructed of silvered bronze, an iron cross paty with a pearled border around the arms, the obverse centre bears the right facing portraits of Franz Joseph and Wilhelm II, the 12 o’clock arm bears a crown and the 6 o’clock arm bears the date “1914”, the reverse bears a horizontal pinback and is inscribed with “OFFIZ VERSCHLEISS DES KRIEGSHILFS BUREAUS” (OFFICIAL WEAR OF THE WAR AID BUREAU), marked on the 6 o’clock arm “GES GESCHUTZT W.R”, measuring 28.16 mm; Austria, Imperial.
