Germany, Third Reich. A Münch Commemorative Medal for Service Workers and Labourers, with Case

(Verdienstmedaille der Münchener Dienstboten- und Arbeiterstiftung). Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a central raised Munich coat of arms, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “MÜNCHEN - DIE HAUPTSTADT DER BEWEGUNG” (“MUNICH - THE CAPITAL OF THE MOVEMENT”), the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “MÜNCHENER DIENSTBOTEN- UND ARBEITERSTIFTUNG BEGRÜNDET VON A.G. MARSCHER” (“MUNICH SERVICE AND LABOURER FOUNDATION, FOUNDED BY A.G. MARSCHER”), unmarked, measuring 30.25 mm in diameter, weighing 18.9 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux black leather exterior, the interior with a padded white satin lid liner, with a depressed blue velvet medal bed, opening with metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 64 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), the spring catch is no longer functional, in overall near extremely fine condition.
