In silver with red and white enamels, Royal crown on the obverse centrepiece ring, measuring 41 mm (w) x 41.2 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, dark patina, chipping evident in the white enamels on the obverse centrepiece and on the reverse on one tip of the arm at 6 o'clock, original ribbon with hook and eye, fine.
Footnote: The Order of the Crown of Romania is a chivalric order established on March 14, 1881 by King Carol I of Romania, to commemorate the establishment of the Kingdom of Romania. It was awarded as a state order until the end of the Romanian monarchy in 1947 and was revived on December 30, 2011 as a dynastic order. The order had five classes: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
