A gilded die stamped bronze stylized Prussian eagle clutching an imperial sceptre in one talon and a globus cruciger in the other, centre chest bears the cipher “FWR” (for Friedrich Wilhelm Rex), inlaid with a ribbon inscribed with “MIT GOTT FÜR KOENIG UND VATER LAND” (WITH GOD FOR KING AND FATHERLAND), the reverse bears soldered attachment loops, the right soldering is marked “GREN 5”, measuring 116.07 mm (w) x 101.44 mm (h), very fine.
