An ovular table medal constructed of iron, the obverse bears s central iron cross paty with a crown at the 12 o’clock arm, a central “W” cipher and the date “1914” on the 6 o’clock arm, encompassed by a laurel leaf wreath, circumscribed with “EISERNE 47 RES. DIVISION”, the reverse bears a list of towns “Verdun Limanowa Rzegocina Dunajec Gorlice Tarnow Leg San Krasnik Idalin Adelina Kurow Sagrody Rokitno Berecza- Kartuska Korrow Slonim Sehara”, measuring 100 mm (w) x 122 mm (h), weighing 326.6 g, very fine.
