Germany, Weimar Republic. An Honourary Prize of the Reich President Table Medal, c. 1930

A circular table medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears an image of an eagle on a bridge, the background displays a hillside with a castle tower on top, the reverse centre bears the inscription “EHRENPREIS DES REICHSPRÄSIDENTEN” (HONOR PRIZE OF THE REICHS PRESIDENT), circumscribed with “VERFASSUNGSTAG IM JAHRE DER RHEINLANDBEFREIUNG 1930” (CONSTITUTIONAL DAY IN THE YEAR OF RHEINLAND LIBERATION 1930), the edge is marked “M. NOACK BERLIN FRIEDENAU”, measuring 78.92 mm, very fine.
