In nickel-silver, engraved "NX173243 F.J. WALSH" on the reverse, measuring 38.7 mm in diameter, original ribbon with pinback, surface wear on the obverse, contact marks on the reverse, better than very fine. Accompanied by an additional ribbon with a 37 mm (w) x 7 mm (h) PNG (Papua New Guinea) clasp affixed, along with its Miniature Medal, measuring 20 mm in diameter with PNG clasp on its ribbon. In their hardshelled case of issue, inscribed "AUSTRALIAN SERVICE MEDAL 1945-1975" on the lid, base with an insert in forest green felt with a recessed medal bed, light contact, case near extremely fine.
