George VI GRI. In silver, mechanically engraved "DUPLICATE" in the centre and "1945" on the arm at 6 o'clock on the reverse, measuring 44.5 mm (w) x 48 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, the hanger with pinback having separated from its original ribbon, light contact on the reverse, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked with the Tudor crown on the lid, inside lid in white satin and maker marked "ROYAL MINT", base in a soiled white felt with a recessed and slotted medal bed, scuffed on the exterior, case very fine.
