A lot of three Soviet aviation school graduation badges, including a Leningrad Civil Air Fleet School badge constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a blue enameled diamond within a white enameled ring, bearing a central gilded and enameled globe overlaid by an Aeroflot insignia, above a silvered applique bearing Cyrillic initials “К И ГВФ”, the reverse with a screw and backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР ЛЕНИНГРАДСКИЙ” for the Leningrad Mint, measuring 27.06 mm (w) x 49.28 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Moscow Aviation Institute badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a blue enameled diamond within a white enameled border, overlaid by a central silvered plane, topped by a five-pointed gilt star, and above Cyrillic initials “МАИ”, the reverse with a screw and backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР ЛЕНИНГРАДСКИЙ” for the Leningrad Mint, measuring 22.90 mm (w) x 46.60 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a second Moscow Aviation Institute badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a blue enameled diamond within a white enameled border, overlaid by a central silvered plane, topped by a five-pointed silvered star, and above Cyrillic initials “МАИ”, the reverse with a screw and backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 22.93 mm (w) x 46.56 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
