Germany, SS. A Rare SS-Schule Haus Wewelsburg Plate

(SS-Schule Haus Wewelsburg Essteller). A rare SS-Schule Haus Wewelsburg plate, constructed of glazed pottery, the obverse consisting of a beige painted base, with a central blue stylized Hagal rune, within a ring of eight blue Wolfsangel runes, in turn within a border of stylized Sig runes, the reverse features an unglazed flattened base, bearing a hand-painted black inscription of “HAUS WEWELSBURG”, above dual Sig runes, measuring 240 mm in diameter, a number of small chips and glaze imperfections are evident to the obverse, a rare example of SS-Schule Haus Wewelsburg tableware in near extremely fine condition.
