Constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the suspension loop maker marked with LDO code “11” for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 43.78 mm (w) x 48.18 mm (h), weighing 18.8 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of card stock with a faux black leather exterior, the interior with a depressed golden-yellow felt medal bed, the interior of the lid marked with a “LDO” logo, measuring 70 mm (w) x 80 mm (l) x 16 mm (h), an exceptionally well-preserved example in near mint condition.
