In silver, maker marked "GK&S" (G. Kenning & Son, London), marked with a leopard's head (made in London), the British lion, date marked "g" (1902) and maker marked "KENNING & SON LONDON" on the reverse, illustrating a left-facing elephant standing upon a rectangular block inscribed "INDIA", surrounded by the inscription "ARMY TEMPERANCE ASSOCIATION", backed by a cross with ball finials on the points of the arms, with emanating rays between each arm, measuring 41.5 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), loop affixed to the reverse but missing its ring, very light contact and tarnishing, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Army Temperance Association India Six Year Medal was named in 1904, or earlier, as the Assaye Star, possibly to commemorate the 1903 centenary of the Battle of Assaye, on September 23, 1803.
