(Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). An iron cross paty constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 1918” encompassed by a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upwards facing crossed swords lay in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain and marked “G&S”, with loop for suspension on a red, black and white striped ribbon, measuring 37.93 mm (w) x 42.76 mm (h), weighing 15.7 grams, very fine.

An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 Award Document, on cream-coloured paper, awarded to the businessman Georg Petersen in Rendsburg on 12 October 1934. The document is numbered “Nr. P 24/ A / 34”, stamped and signed. Presenting a single folding crease, with slight creasing at edges and minimal discolouration. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
