Germany, NSDAP. A Membership Badge, by Gustav Brehmer

(NSDAP Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink with multi-coloured paint, horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a central white disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, within a red ring bearing a raised inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) insignia and maker’s code of “M1/101” for Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 23.57 mm in diameter, some loss of paint evident to the white disc, in overall better than very fine condition.
