Germany, HJ. A Proficiency Badge, Silver Grade, by Gustav Brehmer

(Leistungsabzeichen der HJ in Silber). Constructed of silvered bronze, vertical pinback, the obverse consisting of a Tyr rune, overlaid by a mobile swastika, circumscribed by a ring bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR LEISTUNGEN IN DER HJ” (“FOR MERIT IN THE HJ”), the reverse engraved with a letter “B”, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/101” for Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 29.92 mm (w) x 51.28 mm (h), weighing 8.3 grams, some loss of finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
