Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a hexagonal bronze backplate and horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised leftward-facing profile of a labourer, circumscribed by raised symbols of industry, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE IN DER ARBEIT” (“FOR FAITHFULNESS IN LABOUR”), within dual oak leaf branches, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “THÜR. INDUSTRIE UND HANDELSKAMMER ZU MÜHLHAUSEN” (“THURINGIA CHAMBER OF INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE OF MÜHLHAUSEN”), the suspension backplate maker marked “O. HILDEBRANDT, MAGDEBURG”, the edge of the medal marked with a silver content number of “990”, measuring 33.50 mm in diameter, weighing 19.5 grams (inclusive of ribbon and backplate), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of light wood with a faux brown leather exterior, the interior with a padded purple satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a depressed blue velvet medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional metal hinge, with some material fatigue evident to the case, in overall near extremely fine condition.
