A shoulder board constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bears four rows of light gray cord wound with fine silver bullion wire, the inner two rows with fine strands of green embroidery, the two outer row with wide rows of green embroidery, wrapped in a u-shape, in a chevron formation, a silvered rank pip below a silvered RSV cipher affixed to the centre, button hole for uniform attachment, the reverse is plain and bears an attachment strap with green threaded stitched buttonhole, measuring 100.35 mm (l) x 31.40 mm (w); a collar tab constructed of green woven fabric, with light grey embroidered border with central laurel leaf bunch and single silvered rank pip, the reverse presents the brown card backer and attachment prongs of the rank pip, measuring 73.46 mm (w) x 38.88 mm (w), both very fine.
