Twelve badges are in silvered and/or gold-coloured bullion wire, in various textures, five with embroidery in various colours complementing the bullion, most with black threading giving definition to the wings, parachutes or other insignia, nine on a black wool base, one each on a red, maroon or olive green wool base, black cotton backers, in various sizes, the Singapore Badge with a pinback. The other seventeen badges are embroidered, in various colours, on either a wool or cotton base, four are padded, most with cotton backers, one badge with four snaps attached on the reverse, in various sizes. Ranging from very fine to extremely fine.
