Croatia, Independent State. A Poglavnikova Tjelesna Bojna (PTB) Ustasha Unit Belt Buckle, 1944

A rectangular belt buckle constructed of a magnetic metal, the obverse field is smooth with a raised central medallion of a “U” within an ornate swirled and pointed border, the reverse bears a flat buckling hook on the left side and a dual prong bar on the right side, marked “Oruzarnica ZABOK 1944” (Armoury ZABOK 1944), measuring 76 mm (w) x 57 mm (h), some rust on the reverse and light wear, otherwise in very fine condition.
