Germany, Third Reich. A German Youth Equestrian Badge, by Karl Wurster

(Deutsches Jugend-Reiter-Abzeichen). Constructed of zink, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a stylized belt circumscribing a raised letter “R”, with a central raised depiction of a mounted horse, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked with Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) code “34” for Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen, measuring 31.66 mm (w) x 34.78 mm (h), weighing 6.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
