Germany, Luftwaffe. An Air-to-Ground Support Squadron Clasp, with 300 Hanger

(Frontflugspange für Schlachtflieger mit Anhänger). Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a swastika, overlaid by crossed swords, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, with dual suspension hooks securing in place a plaque bearing a raised number “300”, the reverse with a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring clasp 76.12 mm (w) x 25.66 mm (h), the hanger measuring 37.82 mm (w) x 9.85 mm (h), with an overall weight of 17.1 grams, the clasp is missing its hinge and pinback and a hole has been drilled into the middle of the swords, in overall very fine condition.
