An award document for an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to “SS-ROTTENFÜHRER KARL SCHULZ”, issued on 8 September 1942, featuring a handwritten signature of an unidentified Hauptsturmführer, measuring 142 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), material fatigue and tearing is evident in addition to horizontal and vertical folding creases, with illegible handwriting visible on the reverse, in overall very fine condition.
