Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled diamond, overlaid by a central red enameled five-pointed star, bearing a silvered Soviet coat of arms, above a silvered banner bearing a black Cyrillic inscription of “ВВМИУ”, the reverse with a screw and backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the Soviet Mint, measuring 26.25 mm (w) x 46.63 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
