Footnote: Private Frederick Sidney Claude Harper served as a Private (10621) with the Somerset Light Infantry during the First World War and entered the French theatre on July 24, 1915. For his First World War service, he was awarded the 1914-15 Star, the British War Medal and the Victory Medal, as confirmed on his Index Card. He was also the recipient of the Efficiency Medal with Territorial Scroll while with the 4th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry.
