Germany, Luftwaffe. A Fallschirmjäger Badge, by C.E. Juncker

(Fallschirmschützenabzeichen). Constructed of nickel-silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing in place the obverse eagle, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked “C.E. JUNCKER, BERLIN”, with an illegible etched owner’s name, measuring 98.02 mm (w) x 26.82 mm (h), weighing 32.9 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
