Latvia, Republic. A 13th Tukums Regiment Badge, c.1920

A straight-arm cross paty constructed of bronze and multi-coloured enamels, the centre bears a shield with the flag of Latvia in red and white enamel, superimposed over a larger shield with a black enamel “T”, superimposed over a sword, the cross arm are white with light blue borders, the 12 o’clock arm bears “13” and the 6 o’clock arm bears “1920”, the reverse is plain and bears a screwback with a plain plate, measuring 39.83 mm, very fine.
