France, III Republic. Two Mounted Awards and Award Document

Military Medal (Médaille Militaire), Type III with Uniface Trophy-of-Arms (in silver gilt with blue enamels, dual cornucopia hallmarked and marked with a "1" between the cornucopias on the obverse, measuring 27.8 mm (w) x 46 mm (h) inclusive of its trophy-of-arms suspension, chipping evident in the blue enamels on the reverse centrepiece ring, original ribbon); and War Cross (Croix de Guerre) 1914-1918 (in bronze, dated "1914-1918" on the reverse centrepiece, measuring 38 mm (w) x 46.2 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, bronze palm affixed to its original ribbon), along with a Miniature Aiguillette (orange cord, braided, with a 27 mm long bronze tip) placed between the awards, all three of which are pinned in place to a 217 mm (w) x 320 mm (h) numbered "20549" but un-named Military Medal award document, dated "1918", and pasted in place to a very thick cardboard backer. Very fine.
