Germany, Imperial. A Kaiser Friedrich III Wine Stopper

(Kaiser Friedrich III Weinverschluss). A unique wine stopper, consisting of a cork base, topped by a finely-detailed bust of a subject appearing to be Kaiser Friedrich III, constructed of silvered bronze, depicted wearing a Pickelhaube and the Pour le Mérite, unmarked, measuring 80 mm in total height, some of the cork has broken off, in overall near extremely fine condition.
