(Waffen-SS Gebirgsjäger Mützenabzeichen). Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey and golden-yellow edelweiss, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), with some soiling evident to the obverse, in overall very fine condition.
